Bring-Your-Own Tent Site

Overnight stay: 1,100 yen per tent
Day use: 1,100 yen per tent

Overnight campers may stay until 11:00 a.m. the following day. Day-use visitors may use the campground until 5:00 p.m.

Permanent Tent Accommodation

Overnight stay: 3,300 yen
Day use: 2,200 yen

Day use is limited to under 8 hours and available until 5:00 p.m.

Multi-Use Ticket (3 Visits)

3,000 yen

Additional facilities:

Battery car ride for children: 100 yen
Ground golf: 100 yen for course use and 100 yen for equipment rental

How to Use the Campground

Subari Campground operates on a simple first-come, first-served system, and reservations are generally not required for the open camping area.

After arriving, visitors may freely choose an available space and set up their tent. Reception and payment are handled at the building located across from the playground before 4:00 p.m. Guests arriving later may complete payment the following morning.

The campground is designed for travelers who prefer a flexible and relaxed camping experience rather than a resort-style campground with strict schedules and organized activities.

Access

Subari Campground is located about 30 minutes by car from Futatsui Station and is a convenient stop during a self-drive trip around Shirakami Sanchi and northern Akita.

Before arriving at the campground, travelers can also stop at nearby Subari Dam to enjoy scenic reservoir views and seasonal landscapes.
