Winter will be upon us soon, so here are the latest updates regarding road and trail accessibility in the Akita Shirakami area.
|Nishimeya-Futatsui Line (Prefectural Route 317)|| Partially Closed |
(Manago Gate 1~Aomori Prefectural Border)
|Passing through the Dairakyo Valley, access to Kurumidai camping ground, Dakedai Forest, Tanashiro Marsh, Mt. Fujisato-Komagatake’s Kuroishizawa Trail, and Tsurubeotoshi Pass will be closed for winter until next spring.|
|Town Road Kuroishi Line||Closed for winter||Leads to Kurumidai camping ground, Dakedai Forest, Tanashiro Marsh and Mt Fujisato Komagatake’s Kuroishi trailhead.|
