Winter will be upon us soon, so here are the latest updates regarding road and trail accessibility in the Akita Shirakami area.

Nishimeya-Futatsui Line (Prefectural Route 317) | Partially Closed (Manago Gate 1~Aomori Prefectural Border) | Passing through the Dairakyo Valley, access to Kurumidai camping ground, Dakedai Forest, Tanashiro Marsh, Mt. Fujisato-Komagatake’s Kuroishizawa Trail, and Tsurubeotoshi Pass will be closed for winter until next spring. |
