Tenku no Fuyajo Festival 2026: Accommodation, Seating & Dining Plans Available
The Tenku no Fuyajo Festival, featuring Japan’s tallest castle-shaped lantern floats, will take place on August 2 and 3 in Noshiro City, Akita.
As the event attracts many visitors from across Japan and overseas, a range of convenient services are available, including accommodation booking, paid seating reservations, and dinner-inclusive plans.

Please note that most double rooms are already fully booked, while a limited number of single rooms remain available. Early inquiries are strongly recommended.
Paid Seating Reservations
Admission to the festival is free.
Visitors are welcome to walk around designated viewing areas along the route and enjoy the lantern floats from various points.
Please note that entry into the parade route is not permitted, and visitors cannot join the procession.
For a more comfortable experience and a better view, front-row paid seating options are available.
Kiritanpo Hot Pot Dinner Plans
Dinner-inclusive plans are also available at restaurants near the festival venue.
These plans feature Akita’s local specialty, kiritanpo hot pot—grilled rice sticks simmered in a savory broth—offering an authentic regional dining experience.
