Shirakami lamb is a special Suffolk Hogget meat that is hard to come by in other parts of Honshu. Local to Fujisato Town, this grass-fed lamb is often used in a variety of dishes including shabu-shabu, a Japanese hot pot dish.
Try Shirakami Lamb at Mori no Eki during their lunch hours. Their lamb and watercress bowl is fresh and tasty. Also Tashiro Shokudo in Fujisato offers a lamb yakiniku, enjoy grilling with your friends. Their special sauce is so good!
