Will proceed in case of rain. In case of storm-level weather, it will be postponed to July 20 (Sun) or 21 (Mon)

◼️ What makes this fireworks show special?
The Noshiro Fireworks Festival is one of Tohoku’s most iconic summer events, famous for its massive scale and unique firework designs. Around 15,000 fireworks light up the night sky in layers of brilliant color and sound. The most anticipated moment is the launch of Tohoku’s only “San-shaku-dama” — a gigantic shell that explodes into a display nearly 700 meters wide. The impact is breathtaking, a feast for the eyes and ears.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Shirakami Sanchi mountains, the fireworks create a one-of-a-kind scene of sparkling color and natural beauty — an experience you won’t find anywhere else.
